NSA UNSW
NSA was founded at UNSW in 1996 by a small group of Japanese students who wanted a way to meet other Japanese students on campus. Since then, we have expanded to over 600 members, not only including Japanese people or people who speak Japanese, but also those who share an appreciation for Japanese culture.
As a society, we host regular events for our members. Our events are a good opportunity to meet and hang out with people with similar interests, practice all levels of Japanese, and make new friends. We also hold many events with Japanese exchange students who come to Sydney, giving you the chance to share our culture with them.

Hi!! I'm Eva and I'm the president for this year! I'm a third year currently studying Commerce and Information Systems. Yo, I'm Kenny and I'll be running treasury for NSA for 2016. Currently a 5th year Engineering and Arts student, with Arts in Japanese of course! I've joined NSA as a first year and as my first society, and I hoped to expand my Japanese knowledge from my time as a uni student.

Hey, I’m Miggy/Luis and I’ll be one of your secretaries for 2016~ I became interested in Japanese culture when I started watching anime, but since then I’ve learnt to appreciate Japan as a whole. I’m currently majoring in Japanese at uni and I hope I’m able to put it to good use in Japan in the future~ よろしく！

Heyy guys! As someone who has always loved Japanese culture but never really had the opportunity to learn more about I started going to NSA events in my 1st year.
