Language Workshops
NSA holds weekly language workshops for beginner and intermediate Japanese learners from Week 4 to Week 13 of session. This is a great opportunity for you to meet other Japanese learners and practice your speaking and listening skills. For more information, join the Facebook group here.

Karaoke
Enjoy karaoke with your friends? Come down with NSA too! Usually at Mizuya or Echo Point, we often like to go at the start of semester or after exams to relax and celebrate together! (Also a good chance to practice those hiragana reading skills)

Beach BBQs
If you like hanging out at the beach or feel like going for a swim, come and join us at NSA's beach BBQs in summer!

Dinners
Whether it's a welcome dinner, farewell dinner, or maybe we just feel like eating out, we often enjoy our meals together! Eating out is a great way to get to know other NSA members, as well as meet exchange students and introduce them to the food we like to eat here in Australia.

City Tours
Whenever exchange students come around, we like to show them our city and give them a tour. Here's your chance to take them to your favourite places in Sydney and form great memories with them!

Hanami
Sometimes accompanied by AnimeUNSW, NSA goes to Auburn every year to look at traditional Japanese style gardens, with cherry blossoms in bloom! Come in a kimono or in cosplay for free entry!

JAC Camp
We hold a camp every year during winter break with the Japanese societies of UTS (JASS) and USyd (Wasabi). This is not only a good opportunity to become closer with fellow NSA members, but also to make friends with those from other universities who share the same love for Japanese culture!
